What are the consequences of the Fall of Man in Genesis 3 that still impact us today?

1 Kings 7 makes an unexpected departure from discussing the temple being built to Solomon spending more time on his own house.  It then goes back to describing the temple and all that was made for it.  The three big points I think the passage makes can be seen in the headings: (1) We can idolize beauty, yet beauty is not the problem in and of itself for God (2) skills people like Hiram (or Bezalel) to make beautiful things.  (3) God does this because He desires beauty because ultimately it is for our joy and His glory.

The consequences of the God's glorious creation and man's treasonous rebellion are manifest in the world today.

The construction descriptions of the house of the Lord are not just giving us details about how it was built and with what materials.  More than that, they give us pictures of what God is like, and how we should respond to Him.
