CFC full-time pastoral worker Mac and his wife Diane Quinto have seen how a community, despite the many challenges and trials, has led them to grow their giftedness and recognize God’s unique and grace-filled leading, and how having a safe space to express one’s faith has empowered many people with the Spirit. Both coming from families deeply enmeshed in CFC, Mac and Diane Quinto are now 7 years into journeying their marriage vocation together and with the CFC community.

Coping with illness in the family is a challenging journey. Manny Garcia experienced this when his wife, once active in work and service, suffered a stroke. Life changed dramatically as he learned to cook meals that met her dietary needs, adjusted his daily routines, and dedicated more time at home to care for her. Similarly, Maia Tolentino faced heartbreak upon learning that her daughter had an autoimmune disease requiring longer hospital treatments. She often wished she could take her daughter’s place. Though their stories are different, both reflect the strength of hope and faith in the face of adversity.

Facing the struggle of not being able to conceive can be one of life’s hardest challenges, requiring strong faith and trust in God’s plan. For Romeo and Harmony Medina, this journey was filled with both sadness and hope. They spent many hours in prayer, wondering what God wanted for them. As they moved forward, they began to see that their path might be different from what they had first imagined. With the love and support of family and friends, they found the strength to consider adoption. They came to see that God was leading them toward a special blessing—a miracle unfolding right in front of them, shaped by God’s love.
