When it comes to a tree it can be fruitful at times but at the same time it can be unavailing in certain aspects. These unavailing traits are what Christ is trying to Get rid of. These ungodly traits get in His Way of what He wastes to accomplish in our lives

Would you go to a science class to learn about history? No. You would attend a history class to learn directly from the source. It’s a similar concept when it comes to the things of Christ. Why do we learn about love from man rather than going to Christ. He is love according to The Word so we should go directly to Him.
