We doubled our sales in 2021!!!

2021 was interesting because I finally acquired and achieved so many things...

Yet, it was one of the most challenging years I’ve had as a Leader and Business Owner so far.

Thank you all for being a part of this journey with me!

In 2022 we will be inviting 22 women entrepreneurs to double their sales or donation revenue. I have opened the doors back up to one-on-one coaching, and I will be taking 1 client in January!

I personally think it's good to have a mixture of both fundraising and business income streams fueling your vision!

And guess what? I found it's easier to attract funders when they see you have sustainability and you are creating your own income streams as well!

Many of our Nonprofits are taking matters into their own hands and finding ways for the Nonprofit to fund its own projects and magically funders seem to appear! It's no magic! Money attracts to money!

Is there a service or product that you can tie to your mission? How can you serve an area of the community and solve a problem worth paying for at the same time? How can you add value?

I absolutely love the YMCA's model! Health and fitness for the general community and assistance for those who are in the lower income bracket! A true Win Win!

If you are raising funds the traditional way this year, remember you are not begging for money! You are asking people to join hands with you in solving a problem that affects an entire community!

I speak with Akil on today's podcast! We assisted him in starting a Nonprofit while incarcerated. He shares how he created his own income streams and now has received several large grants!

As the seasons change sometimes we must adjust as well! I interviewed one of our Nonprofit sisters Keshia Thomas who has been on Oprah twice, led several Nonprofit disaster relief efforts, raised 20k, and got 50 acres donated to her nonprofit!

A common nonprofit saying is, "funders don't fund organizations, funders fund people! So, how are your people skills? Are you having a hard time attracting the right board, clients, or funders? In this episode, I speak with author and writer Naomi V. Dunsen-White. Naomi has always been a book lover. She has also enjoyed creative writing since she was a young girl. Naomi is a former Educator and Foster Care Specialist who has always enjoyed working with children. She currently tutors children, helping them improve their reading and writing skills, which are the gateway to success in other subjects as well. She believes that reading comprehension is a critical skill for both children and adults. Literacy and diversity are her passions! Naomi strives to spread awareness about the wide diversity gap in children's literature with her organization "Literacy and Diversity For All Inc".
