Samson's story in Judges 14 is a powerful warning about what happens when we let our eyes lead our hearts instead of trusting God. Like Israel in his day, many of us are caught in cycles of chasing what looks good, feels right, or promises happiness, only to find that it leaves us empty. Samson's impulsive decisions cost him his marriage, his relationships, and ultimately his sense of purpose. God's grace is real and He can work through our mistakes, but that grace does not erase the earthly consequences of our choices. True peace is not found in the things that catch our attention. It is found in Christ alone. The challenge for each of us is to let the Word of God lead our decisions rather than our feelings or impulses.
