Serving A Life Sentence Yet I Am Free

Just wanted to share a moment of reflection, hopefully my words will encourage someone who may be questioning their growth.

I apologize for my absence

This chap was a result of an episode of insomnia. Just my opinion on pharmaceutical meds & the affect after taking them.

Different things work for different people. This chapter just gives a reason for my personal decision. I do not advise nor suggest anyone to stop taking their medication.

I am not one to pretend so this episode is a moment of transparency.

We all have a story to tell. It's when you turn a test into a testimony. Don't be ashamed to share your's, you never know who it may help.

Every day is a battle & yes, I've wanted to give up several times. I used to feel frustrated when I'd open my eyes & see I made it thru the night. Separating what I can control from what I cannot control, was my 1st step in accepting myself. People come & go in life but when you take your last breath; who stands in YOUR judgment? YOU ALONE! You ever notice, we are more accepting, forgiving, patient & loving to others than we are to OURSELVES? Find, accept & embrace the TRUE YOU & everything else falls in place.

Everything I know, I have been taught. Either thru education or experience, I have been conditioned & programmed. Who's to say I was taught correctly. I now know, my personal way of thinking is not wrong, just different. Embrace your individuality!
