Who would have thought that Christians must be convinced that Jesus is God and the only way of salvation?

Once Jesus is removed as the central tenet . . . the central foundational thought of Christianity. . . .all one is left with is a religion.

Once the incarnation. . . that is, God becoming man. . . is set aside, Jesus is relegated to being just a good man or prophet. A good man or prophet, a sinner like the rest of us, could not pay for our sins.

One sinful human being dying for another would be inadequate and pay for nothing.
