This podcast is a little more on the personal side. I share my experience of being cyber bullied by someone who I considered very important to me at that specific time of my life. It was a long two years but I eventually figured out that I deserved better.

Seems like that word has lost its meaning over time. Something so simple to ask for yet so hard for people to give. And this goes for relationships, friendships, family members etc. Being unfaithful has become so normalized in this generation. The more it happens, the more people settle for a partner who breaks their trust over and over again.

For this episode I am joined with my girls Tashonta (the founder of Big Sisters Club), Kelsey (creator of “A Black History Month Celebration” website) and Nicole (owner of KitaGlam). We are discussing our opinions on unfaithfulness in a marriage/romantic relationship.

Putting yourself first is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I believe that there is such thing as a good kind of selfish. Knowing your worth and knowing when to leave someone who is not worthy of you is key to self growth. Don’t hurt yourself by choosing people who choose to not value you

There is no doubt that 2020 has been a trying year. We were faced with many challenges and had to adjust to a new type of “normal.” As 2021 approaches, self reflection is something that I began to do. I looked at how I handled certain situation this year (or even years prior) and just took the time to see how I could have handled things better. I took responsibility for my mistakes and valued every small amount of growth I went through. In 2021, we are leaving the past behind us and looking forward to what God has for us because I promise you, it’s going to be great. And every trial you went through will be worth it🙌🏾
