When we face troubled times we often wish it wasn't the time we were living in and that the troubled times hadn't come to us. There's a lot we can learn from Daniel in the Bible. Daniel lived his entire life, pretty much, in exile and it wasn't really his fault that he was there.
On Sunday 3rd May we continued our new series in Daniel and Tim spoke on how Daniel resolved to honour God and live courageously despite the troubled times he lived in.
Daniel set his heart on following God. To live faithfully in troubled times we must resolve, that is to set our heart, to live for God.
Daniel lived courageously. To be faithful we need courage.
Daniel experienced moments of God's favour and compassion in his troubling time. We need to be on the look out, to expect and be ready to experience and encounter the love of God.
