Sigurd confirmed his choice to leave Fornburg despite the king's final warning, and the clan set sail for England. After the title sequence, Layla emerged from the Animus in a remote cabin. She experienced strange environmental tremors before being greeted by Shaun and visiting a mysterious grave that holds the key to their mission.

It was their king who risked a final confrontation as he approached the boats with King Harald's banner flying behind him. He asked Sigurd to stop and reconsider after hearing the plan to abandon their lands. But Sigurd confirmed his choice was already made.

Then I had to walk to the longship as everyone was waiting for me to board so we could depart. While I was walking on the docks, I looked at the home one last time through the photo mode. I could guess, once we leave this place, the life I had known in Fornburg would be gone forever.

After sitting on the longship, the warriors began to row and we started sailing away from the harbor. I was still looking at the home because I didn't know if I would ever get to check on it again in this lifetime.

While they were sailing for England through a long route, the crew members were having different conversations about their hopes and fears. The game showed its logo at last against the horizon, signaling the true beginning of our saga in the distant lands.

After the cinematic sequence ended, the person who was playing Eivor came out of the Animus and it was revealed to be a female character. I realized it was Layla, who I guess was introduced in Assassin's Creed Origins at first and has been the modern-day protagonist since then.

She and her team had held up in a proper house in a remote location to stay hidden from those who were hunting them.

After checking through the window at the landscape outside, she was about to drink some water to clear her head. Suddenly, she noticed some shaking around the room, which told her that the environmental stability was failing while she was staring at the ancient equipment.

So the lady went outside after putting her earbuds in. It looked like it was a quiet country site where they had held up to conduct their research in peace.

When Layla was wandering around the yard, there came Shaun, who was a friend of Desmond and a character from the beginning of the series. He came bringing some electrolytes for Layla as he mentioned. It's good to see a familiar face in such a lonely place.

Then Layla was shown checking on a lonely grave located a short distance from the house. She was talking to the grave while asking how they would fix the breaking world and how the person buried there was the key to everything.

She looked down at the dirt, knowing that the answers she needed were buried deep within the bones of the past. But who this could be? Eivor?

That's all for now.
