Asha is the FOUNDER and CEO of The Impact Faculty.

She has 12+ years’ experience of working in Sustainable Business across public and private sectors internationally, holding senior positions in retail, logistics, ICT and government organisations.  A Fellow of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership here in Sydney and a Cambridge University Sustainability Leadership Program Alumni. She has deep expertise in strategy, engagement and education to drive responsible and sustainable business practices. In order to use her #VoiceforGood, she writes, speaks, trains and influences in any way she can to create an inclusive and sustainable world. Originally from the UK, she has lived in Australia for nearly four years, has an Aussie husband and 3-year-old son. She loves living in the eastern suburbs and is partial to dark chocolate.

Edda is the co-founder of Australia’s leading sustainable fashion show, Undress Runways. She is also the co-founder of Lána, an ethical and versatile womenswear label available for rent.

In 2017, Edda was selected as a United Nations Young Leaders for the Sustainable Development Goals, and also named QLD Young Achiever of the Year. In 2018, Edda was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List.

Earlier in 2019 I was invited to Vivid Sydney by the Banksia Foundation to interview panelists from their Banksia Ignite event. 

This convo is with Alex Webb from the Marine Stewardship Council. An organisation working towards sustainable fishing and ocean practices using science to help build their path. So there is no guessing here. The MSC is using real data to build frameworks to improve and protect our oceans and how we use them as a resource.

 Great conversation as apart of my invite to the Banksia Ignite event in Sydney in 2019. In this short conversation; we hear from Alan Dayeh from B Lab Australia. Alan shares some value insights into how to measure the SDGs once they have been implemented in the workplace. A common question from the SDG conversation. 

Alan Dayeh has a career of over 20 years, holding roles in ASX-listed companies, management consulting and boutique sustainability firms. Most recently he was Westpac’s Head of Sustainability Governance, with oversight of the Group’s Sustainability Strategy, Risk Framework as well as their Climate Change and Human Rights Position Statements.

Alan is now the NSW Managing Principal for Point Advisory, a specialist sustainability services company helping organisations to contribute to the SDGs. Point Advisory is both a signatory to the UN Global Compact and is also a Certified B Corp. He is also a Board Member of B Lab Australia & New Zealand since 2016, providing strategic and standards-setting guidance to the growing global B Corp movement.

A fun and entertaining conversation with Sydney based change maker Anna Sheppard from Bambuddha Group. Anna's story is a unique one; but not one all that different to many change makers around the world. Hear about how her youth has shaped her pathway to corporate kindness and simply doing good business; as Anna's member based organisation is shaping a real culture change in many of Sydney's large and small companies.
