In Part One of Blinded by Science O and Zee went back to 2006 to review how science was being manipulated for political gain regarding stem cell research, and how media could be aligned against figures such as Rush Limbaugh who dared to address the failed results and lack of research despite the insistence that science had spoken.
In Part Two O and Zee review how Vladimir Putin, contrary to popular opinion, is being pushed into the hands of the World Economic Forum by forming closer allegiance with China. Yuvel Harari and Klasu Schwab have described China as the model for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and Russia is not positioned as an outlier. And contrary to popular belief that Elon Musk is not a messenger for the climate change crowd, O and Zee play Elon’s latest video calling for carbon tax to end climate change. Sadly the alternate media is silent about Elon parroting John Kerry, Al Gore, Greta Thuneberg, Klaus Schwab and Larry Fink. How is this not a betrayal of principle?

Back in 2006 our society debated the utility of stem cells in medical treatments, and in Part One Blinded By Science, O and Zee will examine a Rush Limbaugh broadcast that demonstrated the use of science and propaganda as a political tool. The startling thing is the degree to which not much has changed: the media, in concert with elites who wish to control science, control truth and ultimately deny us the ability to engage in rational discourse, are presenting figures who are false heroes. Anyone who speaks with the appearance of scientific authority is to be accepted as a supreme authority, and that authority is accorded to celebrities who support the march to collectivism. Who has vested these figures with authority, and is truth and actual science even a factor when judging someone worthy of our attention. In 2024 it seems that all it takes is a bit of notoriety and soft interviews to put someone on that authoritative pedestal.

We have been warned about the semblance of science, and yet those lessons failed us as we quickly donned masks and flocked to platforms that gave us hot takes and a continual stream of pseudoscience as the elite attempted to manipulate us. What has really changed? Are the new heroes just a form of entertainment to keep us in this endless cycle?

In Part Two, O And Zee continued discussing the impact of human trafficking on Indian Reservations, and how this will affect elections in Michigan where voter registration will be fed to the Secretary of State. Citing the clear risk of low data integrity, Zee expresses his concern that elections could be affected by what is brought into systems with little or no oversight.

In Part Three O and Zee introduce Elon Musk’s Twitter AI called Grok. Sadly a Twitter user is asking the AI advice on how to increase his exposure and gain followers by improving his behavior on his Twitter timeline. Grok supplies many answers that the user then enacts, and then he returns for further advice on language, and whether he should write tweets about Elon himself. The answer Grok supplies will startle you as we see a text case example of behavior modification driven by Artificial Intelligence.

In Part One, O and Zee examined the current trend of political manipulation on social media regarding elections. Inconsistent testimony from cyber security expert Alex Halderman dismissed clear violations of computer network security in the 2020 presidential election in Michigan. While concerned in 2017 and 2024, magically in 2020 Halderman testified to the secure nature of Michigan election procedures. O raised the concern of a law in Michigan that automatically registers released prisoners and Indian Reservation residents with little oversight and no proof of signatures, leaving doors open for potential voter and demographic manipulation. Finally a report regarding human trafficking from Arizona was reviewed, demonstrating how ascertaining population and residency was difficult to track.

In Part Two, O And Zee continue discussing the impact of human trafficking on Indian Reservations, and how this will affect elections in Michigan where voter registration will be fed to the Secretary of State. Will Illegal aliens released from Michigan prisons be automatically registered to vote? What about illegal aliens who could be counted among the Indian population on reservations. The demographics of the reservations in Michigan point to a large number of people who could affect the outcome of an election. Will systems that accept data from areas not under US jurisdiction be validated?

At its core Severed Conscience is about the manipulation of the human mind by technology and coercion. Demographics are studied to create silos and digital reservations, and we are presented with a pale imitation of the truth couched in expert lingo-ease. Since we are beckoned away from the real world, there is an attempt to change fundamental liberties while we are entertained. We are also habituated to seeking approval online and many now turn to AI to alter their behavior in order to gain popularity and promote themselves. O and Zee debate whether this indicative of Severed Conscience or a limit of access to freedom of expression as discussed in their earlier documentary Rationed State.

In this first part, O and Zee examine the current trend of political manipulation on social media regarding elections. As O has told me many times, Severed Conscience is a diagnosis, it is a state of mind where an individual is trapped by social media and held in a state of constant reaction. This is not a thinking state, it is a response to stimuli that are aimed at us from algorithms that release different messages and images, maintaining that dopamine dance of elation and anger, peaks and lulls. People can be attracted to that anger as it can be confused with proactive action to a dangerous threat. We are creatures who have a strong fight or flight instinct, and social media can penetrate our other higher thinking abilities to stir deeper emotion which overwhelms us. Our culture has been shaped by the theme that when we are online we can make countless connections, but those connections are just one dimension if you remain confined to a constant fire of 280 character responses.

Our series has been a mixture of neural science, history, countless observations of our own behavior online and research into technology that is used to “keep you on the platform”. Those are the words of a Facebook founder. Today we see studies of teens with severe mental health issues, and these conditions sadly coincide with what we reviewed at the beginning of our analysis.

This segment called Land Grab is a podcast that took place just prior to Kelly and O and I embarking on our Severed Conscience project, and you will hear how the themes from our documentary were percolating in our minds during conversations of land rights, Covid protocols and behavioral control enacted by the state. This conversation took place with the Lock Downs still very close in our rear view mirror. What follows is our projections of where the climate change movement might head while using some of the same behavioral techniques we would later describe in Severed Conscience.

Our thesis for Severed Conscience arose from observations and discussions in other podcasts when we hit on topics that revealed clues that something abnormal was at work. In our earlier documentary Rationed State we described the threat that the World Economic Forum posed, and how society was being herded into concentrated areas for more efficient centralized management. Not only did we describe the threat to our economic way of life, we also described the behavior modification that was at work.

This episode Land Grab is one of those sessions. Prior to her embarking on her career as a family counselor, Kelly Trowhill was the harbormaster for Port Sanilac Michigan, and she was featured in a series called Land Grab where she relayed the impact of the environmental practice called rewilding and the effects it has had on Michigan. Michigan’s reaction to Covid accelerated restricting the population’ movements. In this first part, Kelly describes the symptoms of isolation she observed in her patients, and this exchange with Kelly and Zee is the genesis of the Severed Conscience series.

In Part Two, Zee discussed the shocking revelation that the British court system decided to adopt ChatGPT to assist with legal brief analysis. With that in mind, O and Zee fired up Chat GPT, and after asking it to act as a mental health counselor, they asked Chat GPT what sources were used for its training. “Trusted sources” was the answer, but the bias of those sources such as Forbes, FactCheck.org and the New York Times became very clear.

In Part Three Zee decides to probe deeper, and questions the extent of New York Times credibility regarding the reporting of Walter Duranty in nascent Soviet Russia. Despite obfuscating the facts regarding the starvation in Russia, Duranty won a Pulitzer Prize which became a point of controversy for the New York Times in the mid 2000s when people demanded that the Pulitzer be returned. Chat GPT plays semantics regarding the controversy. Undeterred, Zee and O ask about BLM and if they are capable of dangerous speech. More shocking answers are revealed in this final portion of this Chat GPT experiment.

Severed Conscience Research Labs are recordings of our research with AI and social media. The focus: demonstrate how AI and other technology from Big Tech is shaping behavior in harmful ways. While the advances in language processing, image recognition and video generation with AI is impressive from a technical standpoint, the adverse impact when these new marvels are used to mask the truth by shaping language, making leaps of logic and providing politically correct answers is terrifying.
