Why is one group glorified for doing "nothing" but the other group is ridiculed for doing what a stay at home wife/girlfriend is supposed to do? Can someone make it make sense? Yes, then you'll enjoy this episode for sure. Dating can be either the highlight of your life or the lowest point of your day. Sometimes it's our own fault. Is it intuition or insecurity? Well that's weird! Have you ever felt like maybe a "friend" really isn't actually a friend after all? Well for three beautiful black women that turned out to be the case and it's heartbreaking. In this episode we talk about three cases from 2018, 2019, and most recently in 2022 where it seems there was some foul play from those who were supposed to be friends. Let's reevaluate who we call our friends because not everyone around us is genuinely for us. Normalizing who earns and holds the title of a "friend" is very important these days, and that's why this episode's takeaway is to make your safety a priority. Trust isn't something given to everyone! If the vibe isn't right or you feel uncomfortable, it's okay to choose not to hang with them. Your life and safety matter big time!
