Every June, we celebrate bright and beautiful people in the LGBTQ+ community, but Pride Month is more than drag queen bingo and colorful parades – even though they are the best part! Pride Month commemorates years of struggle for civil rights, the ongoing pursuit of equal justice under the law for the LGBTQ+ community, and the accomplishments of LGBTQ individuals.
