Today we cover the topic of contraception and sexual health with Dr. Pellen Batur. We discuss how contraception is a big part of a woman's sexual well-being. We also touch on the use of contraception with complex medical issues in women. However, because of the change in laws in America, we take a very close look at the use of emergency contraception. Emergency contraception is a very important but underutilized and unknown option used today by clinicians. Our message is that this could help reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and give women greater control of their reproductive planning.
