Sex is treated like it's supposed to be private.
And yet somehow it influences friendships, business relationships, marriages, religion, jealousy, attraction, networking, and even who we're allowed to spend time alone with.
In this episode, I explore a question I've been thinking about constantly:
If sexuality is such a normal part of being human, why are we so uncomfortable acknowledging it?
From an accountability partner story that unexpectedly became about sexuality, to lessons from the Kama Sutra, to my own experiments with attraction, curiosity, and desire, this conversation explores what happens when sexuality is pushed underground; and what we might gain by talking about it more honestly.
We'll talk about attraction, fantasy, jealousy, shame, curiosity, meaningful sexual experiences, and the strange ways sexuality keeps showing up even when nobody is talking about sex.
Because maybe the surprising thing isn't that sexuality keeps appearing in our lives.
Maybe the surprising thing is how shocked we seem every time it does.
