Hundreds of sexual abuse survivors could soon lose access to counselling. The Ministry of Social Development will end its contracts with over a dozen support services in June, redirecting 1-point-7 million dollars to violence prevention programmes. It says the cuts are only four percent of its overall sexual violence funding but providers say it's a huge step backwards.
