In this episode, I brought my sister in to chat about the beliefs around sex that we were raised in and how still, even with the same messages from our parents, we wet on polar opposite sexual journeys. When our dad said, “all men want is sex,” I took it as a challenge to use them before they could use me with no strings attached.  My sister took it to mean that she had to find her unicorn, the rare man capable of emotions too.  Our mom preached abstinence, and there was no real discussion from either about what healthy relationships should be.
