In this episode I speak with Tom O'Connell. He is an educator, outdoor guide, performer, activist and a member of the LGBTIQ community.Tom explains what life was like for him as a teenager growing up in a ‘hetro-normative’ country town and being same sex attracted. He also gives helpful information to other young people who might be experiencing similarities or difficulties regarding their own sexuality or sexual orientation. He gives suggestions on where you can go or who you can talk to if you are feeling a bit lost, unsure or alone in your journey.
