Some interesting points and topics of our chat.
Minute 10:14: Jiveny talks about not trusting people when she was younger and not necessarily having much trust in others, but how her travels help with that.
Minute 11:42: Some of the keys to a great relationship
Minute 12:45: Having mutual respect and having time invested in a friendship reciprocated.
Minute 13:27: Knowing how/when someone respects you.
Minute 14:21: The 5 Love Languages https://www.5lovelanguages.com/
Minute 17:02: Vulnerability that builds connection. Knowing the difference between offloading the dramas of our world vs asking for help when it’s needed.
Minute 19:04: Different stages of friendship.
Minute 22:59: Boundaries, trusting our gut feelings and sensations that might come up when you feel like a boundary is being crossed.
Minute 25:26: People Pleasing, what that is and what it looks like.
Minute 26:38: Accepting ourselves flaws and all. It’s our imperfections that make us loveable and relatable.
Minute 28.52: Making friends & building relationships when you actually find it really difficult.
Minute 30.46: Healthy romantic relationships. Find someone who you can be yourself around and who gets you. It often doesn’t work when we are trying to ‘impress’ people we want to date.
Minute 32.20: Remember that others do just want connection, fun and to feel understood. Mutual Respect.
Minute 33:40: Sex and reflecting on how when we can stay true to ourselves and not rush into anything we are not ready for, that in itself is more attractive than doing it ‘just because’ others your age are.
Minute 34.49: You might find you make longer term connections when you do things at your own pace.
Minute 36.32: The relationship you have with yourself is the longest relationship you will have.
Minute 38:00: Value your relationships.

Some 'Hot tips' from Katherine during the episode.
Minute 21:40 - Don't grate your zuchinni's and carrots as that is where so much good fibre is ( however do wash them well)
Minute 21:53: If we are not pooing well, we can't expect to have gorgeous glowing skin. The skin is an elimination organ. If we are not eliminating from the bowels properly, our skin is going to start eliminating for us.
Minute 22:24: HYDRATION. SO so important. Our skin loves water. We need water for communication between different processes of the body. It's fundamental for us to live.
Minute 23:00: Add a pinch of seas salt (or good quality salt) to you water bottle and it helps absorbs the water into your cells on a cellular level because of the ratio of salt to water in the body.
Minute 25:00: If you can only afford to buy frozen veggies and/or canned items, its definitely better than not eating them. You are still getting great nutritional value from them. Just have to give them a good wash.
Minute 26:15: Buy a variety packet of LSA (linseed, sunflower seed and almond meal) and add to your foods as sprinkle on top.
Minute 30.24: There is not one size fits all with food!!!! and fad diets/detoxes DO NOT WORK.
Minute 33:30: Try not shower at least 1 hour after sun exposure because thats when we get the beautiful absorption through the skin and the liver to absorb the vitamin D.
Minute 34:22: Mushrooms Absorb Vitamin D. Buy your mushrooms and sit them upside down with the stalks facing the sun before eating them. You can literally sunbake your mushrooms to increase vitamin D.
Minute 35:00: Don't sweat the small stuff. Without our mental health, we can't have out physical health.

Here are some moments of gold from Michelle.
Minute 6:21: You're the most unique, special human being there is and what makes you the genius you are, is something to discover.
Minute 7:07: It’s not about knowing what you are going to do. it’s about knowing who you are.
Minute 7:50: Listen to what your gut is saying. When you have that little voice inside and that really strong knowing……that’s the voice to listen to.
Minute 8:36: What can override peer pressure and override making choices we later regret, is the ability to really dial on in, and stand alone on the topics that really matter to us.
Minute 11:25: Changes (physical, emotional) from child to adult.
Minute 14:00: We need to borrow some ‘adult ‘calm’.
Minute 16:10: Research shows that young people really only need one trusted adult in their life to stand and walk that journey with them.
Minute 24.12: Michelle let’s us in on a little secret.
Minute 24.40: The basis of good friendships
Minute 25.03: Having the strength to belong to ourselves. You practice dipping your toe into ‘ok I’m going to stand alone and make my own decision here and let’s see what happens.
Minute 26.59: 50/50 principle. 50% of our needs are met within relationships. And 50% of our needs should be met within ourselves.
Minute 28:23 If you can say No, the same way you say ‘No’ when your mum ask’s you to clean your room, you will be just fine. In fact, it’s really important that we learn to draw those strong lines if we need too.
Minute 29.33: Any time you're able to articulate what that inner voice is saying that’s a really positive thing.
Minute 30:00: During puberty, your body is going to feel different. Feeling different during puberty, please don’t assign that as being unattractive. You will in fact, feel different. Talk about your body as it is a temple.
Minute 35:39: Be careful who you look to for re-assurance. Ensure you are using the 50/50 principle.
Minute 36:30: We need trusted adults to ‘flag and be the filter.'
Minute 40.35: Give yourself enough space to hear you own voice. Sometimes you can’t do that if your phone is dinging all day long. Give yourself time to hang out with you, so your heart can start to talk to you again.
