- DJ Jimmy Stuard - Live At 12 West (NY) - New Years 1976-77 (Jim Hopkins Remaster)Today (posting date) marks the 43rd anniversary of 12 West nightclub that was based in New York from 1975-1981! Happy Anniversary! This live DJ recording was another reel-to-reel tape that I had to salvage from the mold monsters. It was covered in mold. It took close to 3 hours to fully hand remove all of the mold from the tape. It was a success, and another tape has been resurrected! This mix was recorded New Years Eve 1976-into-1977. Another early recording of DJ Jimmy Stuard! Alan Harris had me hold the release of this recording to be presented today for their 43rd anniversary. Extra special thanks to Alan for giving SFDPS access to the 12 West tape archives, and these very special rare recordings!6 hr 11 min
