Prejudice: An internal, spiritual condition that pre-judges someone’s value, motives, or positions based on externals [such as skin color, ethnicity, cultural expression, educational, political, economic condition, etc.] and/or any perceived internal condition or position.

What is the problem?

Race? Ethnicity? Position?

NO …. It’s the heart! (Matthew 15:19)

What is My Heart Condition?

Danger of “residue collection” in my “lines”

Lies, perceptions, stereotypes

Rejection is subtle or obvious

Anger – righteous or punitive

What lens do I view life from?

Hebrews 4:12, 13

What should I do?

Shift focus away from what you can’t do

What can I do to facilitate God’s kind of change?

PRAY! God’s Word says it’s essential!

Go before the throne through Jesus and CRY OUT! Mercy, Grace, Healing, and Restoration is ours!

The struggle is not versus flesh and blood! (Ephesians 6:12)

Authority over evil spirits is in Christ, accessed through believing prayer! (Ephesians 1:19-22)

What does fear do?

Resists the Love of God (1 John 4:18)

Causes flight; builds walls; forms strongholds (relationship killer, resists intimate knowledge of God)

How does fear operate?

Questions God’s Love, provision and authority.

Thrives in an atmosphere of deceptions, lies

Thoughts accumulate, emotions react

Patterns develop …. Strongholds form (collections/bunkers which resist intimate knowing of God – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

The Holy Spirit is praying in You!!! (Romans 8:26)

Weakness, fatigue, and ignorance is the atmosphere the Spirit’s voice is mightily affective!

Sometimes, when we are internally conflicted, confused, disheartened, our thoughts and feelings have blocked the Spirit’s voice.

The Spirit is bearing witness in our spirit of the Father’s intentions and directions. When our will, plans of action, lines up with His witness, peace comes…. clarity comes [resolve and authority].

Praying in the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:14)

Jesus is praying NOW for you!

He understands the Spirit’s language (Romans 8:27)

Who/what is Amalek?

Outward Attacks: i.e. sickness; relationship brokenness; financial destruction; injuries; etc.

Inward Enemies: fear; anger; rejection; lust; greed; retribution; control; manipulation; etc.

“The Weapon of the Lord”

The “rod” …. The surrender of self-striving; the ignorance of “coping mechanism” (Exodus 17:9)

What if God wants to use something I/you have been controlling?

God’s Design for Victory when the battle is overwhelming: Aaron and Hur (Exodus 17:10-16)

Notice that the atmosphere of our heart is where the Love of Christ is grown and the “Above and Beyond” comes from!

The power comes from within us, as believers. Our reborn, Spirit -controlled spirits are the “launching pads” for great works of God!
