The Lightning break it open late to beat the Brewers 9-3.  During the game, I'm joined by Ashley Kimman and Craig Johnshoy who had just returned from the State Track and Field Meet where Ashley captured a Bronze Medal in the High Jump.

The Pioneers keep their season alive with a come-from-behind 6-3 win over the Huskies in the elimination round of the Section 6AA Tournament in Waite Park.

A late-game rally by the Pioneers falls just short in a 6-4 loss to the Cardinals in the Winners Bracket game of the Section 6AA Tournament in Waite Park.

The Pioneers drop an exciting 1-0 game to the Huskies at Putz Field in the Winners Bracket game of the Section 6AA Tournament.  Albany gets an rbi single in the bottom of the 3rd for the only run of the game. The Pioneers leave runners at 2nd and 3rd to end the game.

The Pioneers stage a huge 4-run, 2-out rally in the 5th inning to defeat Holdingford 8-7.  The Pioneers are then able to withstand a bases-loaded, 1-out situation in the 7th to hold off the Huskers in the Semifinals of Section 6AA.

Tori Wagner fires a 1-hitter as the top-seeded Pioneers beat #8 Sauk Centre 5-1 in the Section 6AA Quarterfinals.  Liz Kelash drove in a pair of runs, Brenna Dickmann had 2 hits including a triple and Erika Dickmann had an rbi double to lead the offense.  

The Pioneers defeated the Dutchmen 4-1 at Hellie Field in the 2nd round of the Section 6AA Playoffs as Noah Cekalla fired a 2-hitter and the Pioneers broke a 1-1 tie in the 5th on an rbi single from Kolten Happke and a 2-run bomb from Jeremy Bingesser.

The Lumberjacks beat the Bulldogs 16-1 in a 7 inning game at Hellie Field behind a 4-hit, 6-rbi game from Luis Massa and Wyatt Ziwicki's Homer and 4 rbi's to back the pitching of Alec Dietl.  Mason Herold has an rbi single to drive in Chuck Boser for the Bulldogs only run.

The Pioneers close out their regular season with a 5-1 win over the Huskies behind a Complete Game pitching performance from Tori Wagner.  Liz Kelash was 2-3 with an rbi and scored a run, Emma Melby was 2-3 with an rbi double and scored twice, and Emily Sadlovsky and Kelsie Cummings each had 2 hits and both drove in a run.

The Pioneers launch a school-record 5 Home Runs in a 14-1 win over the Mainstreeters.  Kiara Olesch went deep twice, and Halle Zupan, Kelsie Cummings and Emily Dehler also left the ballpark.  All in support of the fine pitching from Emily Sadlovsky.
