Travis Wenzel fires a Complete-Game 3-hitter as the Cubs beat the Bluejays 4-2 in a Saturday morning game.  Rick Drew drove in 3 runs with a pair of 2-out singles and Travis Wenzel added his own 2-out run scoring single.  For Upsala, Levi Lampert account for both runs with a pair of sacrifice fly's.

The Black Sox beat the Saints 13-3 in 7 innings on Friday night as Mitch Reller fanned 10 over his 6 innings of work to get the Win.  Jake Braegelmann went 2-3 with a walk, an rbi and scored 3 times, Brandon Sawyer was 2-3 with a double, 2 rbi, a walk and was hit by a pitch and scored twice and Bryan Benson was 0-2 but walked 3 times, drove in a pair of runs and scored twice.  For the Saints, Brandon Dickmann was 2-4 with an rbi.

The Lakers beat the Steam 11-2 at Blattner Field on Wednesday, getting off to a fast start with a 1st inning Grand Slam from Elian Mezquita and a solo blast from Cole Wellmann in a 5-run 1st inning.  Mitch McIntyre threw 6 shutout innings, striking out 10 to get the Win.  Carter Dox drove in both runs for Aitkin with a 7th inning 2-run single.

The Cubs snapped a 6-game losing streak with a 5-0 win over the Bears as Caleb Strack lost his bid for a no-hitter with 1 out in the 9th when Isaiah Folsom singled.  Strack finished with a 2-hit shutout and struck out 20! Matt Otremba belted a 2-run Homer, Travis Wenzel doubled twice and Ricky Drew and Alec Zack added rbi singles in the win.

The Lumberjacks handed the Lakers an 11-1 setback in 7 innings on Saturday night. Drew Beier threw a Complete Game, striking out 9 and scattering 6 hits.  Joe Ziwicki went 3-4 with a double and 2 rbi's and scored 3 runs, and 4 other Foley hitters had multi-hit games.  

The Lakers beat the Black Sox 10-2, thanks in large part to a 7-run 3rd inning.  In that big inning, Avon strung together 6 straight singles, used an error and a sacrifice fly to do the damage.  Cody Stich worked the final 4 2/3 innings to get the Win, not allowing a run or a hit while striking out 4. Carter Sawyer led Freeport, collecting 3 of their 4 hits in the game, including a 5th inning Home Run.

The Lakers edged the Lumberjacks 6-5 at Hellie Field as Brady Petron blasted a 3-run Homer in the 5th to put the Lakers ahead for good. Petron also delivered a 1st inning sacrifice fly to finish with 4 rbi. Noah Cekalla went7 innings for the Win with Petron throwing 2 scoreless innings in relief to earn a Save.  Joe Ziwicki belted a solo Homer for Foley.

The Skis stayed unbeaten with a 6-3 win in 11 innings over the Billygoats on Sunday.  Back-to-back rbi doubles from Collin Kray and Zach Opatz, along with a run-scoring wild pitch in the top of the 11th provided the runs that Sobieski needed to improve to 10-0.  

The Brewers beat the Steam 3-2 at Hellie Field as Peter Schommer tossed a Complete Game 5-hitter, striking out 6.  At one point, Schommer retired 18 straight Aitkin hitters.  Pierz scored the game winning run in the bottom of the 8th on a lead-off double by Mike Poser, a Peter Schommer bunt and an Aitkin throwing error.

The Lumberjacks edged the Billygoats 5-3, breaking a 3-3 tie in the 8th on a run-scoring wild pitch and an rbi single from Wyatt Ziwicki.  Drew Beier picked up the Win with relief help from Chuck Hackett.  Mitch Keeler belted a solo Homer and Chuck Hackett had 3 hits to lead Foley while Noah Boser, Joe Kahl and Travis Kahl had multi-hit games for the Billygoats.
