Nashville and Columbus load up their rosters for a run at lord Stanley's cup, while Ottawa goes into full on fire sale mode to build towards the future. With he way the Senators' are trending, Colorado could reap in some huge benefits from the Matt Duchene trade.

In the NBA, Toronto looks to plug some holes and Jeremy Lin is looking good in Raptor red. Denver and GS continue to fight over top spot in the west and Toronto and Milwaukie do the same out east.

This week, Austy and Mitch discuss a rather lackluster Super Bowl in which Tom Brady completes his Infinity Gauntlet and leads the Patriots to become only the second franchise in the NFL to have six super bowls. Austy's record for the 2019 playoffs 2-1, Mitch's record, 1-2.

Many moves were made in the NBA as the trade deadline came and went. The Raptors move some character pieces for a former all star Center Marc Gasol. 76's add Tobias Harris among others, including moving on from former 1st overall pick Markelle Fultz. The biggest surprise being the teams that didn't move big pieces, like Anthony Davis staying put in NOLA and the LAkers not trading the entire future for AD.

NHL, thing are heating up, as we draw closer to the trade deadline. Could the Columbus Blue Jackets movie the big Russian pieces for assets or sit? After acquiring Jake Muzzin, does Toronto pry a player for the canes? Michael Ferland is being a hot commodity for a lot of teams, is he worth a high pick?

This week, Austy and Mitch recover from a wild weekend, where the AFC and NFC Championship games had both questionable calls and questionable non-calls. Also bringing to light their grips with the NFL's rules for overtime and while they should apply the college football OT system.

With the Super Bowl next week, the boys give their predictions and betting odds on who will win in this full circle storyline. Who will win, the New England Patriots who have dominated the NFL since the turn of the century, or the Los Angeles Rams, the team that has climb their way out of years of mediocrity, and looking to defeat Brady in the Super Bowl. A rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI.

In the NHL, Austy's Flames have been on fire who are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. Mitch gives praise to Flames coach Bill Peters for establishing a positive culture for the team, and Brad Treliving for acquiring talent and building stars out of Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Matthew Tkachuk. Mitch's Canucks saw the return of superstar in the making Elias Pettersson, and have a legit shot at making the wild card this year.

Our Conquest is a Sea of OVAs... Welcome to SFN OTR's newest show!

Legend of the Galactic Novices!

This is a anime recap show hosted by Chris and Ryan, chronicling their viewing of the 1980's anime space opera epic, Legend of the Galactic Heroes!

In this episode, they start from the very beginning of the series, seeing it's movie, My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars. After viewing that they dive into the OVA series, watching episodes 1-3.

It will be a long jouney for these two novices, but soon they will become heroes through watching one of the greatest animes of all time!

This week, it's the AFC and NFC Championship games, in the AFC the New England Patriots take on the Kansas City Chiefs in what will be a very chilly Arrowhead Stadium, while in the NFC, the New Orleans Saints face the Los Angeles Rams at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome!

The boys give their predictions and believe these games will be very close, we'll see how that will turn out!

In the NHL, the Calgary Flames are currently leading the Western Conference, with the Winnipeg Jets hot on their heels. Out east, the Tampa Bay Lightning have a firm grip on the Eastern Conference, while the rest of the light follows behind. Make not of the overachieving Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens, whose young Scandinavian stars look to lead them into the playoffs.

This one came out of left field... damn. Just wanted to record my thoughts and the disbandment of SBFP and what this dumb idiots did for not only me, but this big, dumb community too.

EDIT: I got my years wrong, sorry best friends started in 2011, not 2009.

So after 8 years of having a blog on tumblr.com, Ryan has seen everything. From bad ui changes, to bots, to racism, etc. Tumblr for some reason has never tried to resolve its issues like a normal website, and it has finally reached its apex when it was removed from the app stores because of the bots, the child porn, the pedophilia, etc. What do they do, clean the whole slate. Get rid of all adult content regardless of what it is... great idea, right?

Cold Ones is where members of the Super Fun Network come together to hang out and shoot the breeze! Talking about a funny thing they did that week to a serious discussion on a certain topic. Occasionally, they will sit down and talk about an movie they all saw together (examples, Ep.7 The Last Jedi, Ep.8 Infinity War) or a event they are at or went to (example Animethon, a convention in Edmonton).

This week, the gang of Duncan, Ryan, Bum, and Joel sit down for 2 hours and shoot on whatever is on their minds!
