After a near three-month absence, I'm back on Anchor discussing the fallout from the 2018 edition of SummerSlam and this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

This is the second segment that has provided fans with a completely different buildup from their 2015 encounters, but it didn't come without its flaws.

The March 19 edition of Monday Night Raw saw Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have their first physical confrontation since their SummerSlam match in 2017.

This week's episode failed to feature Brock Lesnar despite the advertisement ahead of time. Roman Reigns called Lesnar "Vince's Boy" which sent the internet ablaze. My analysis on this, the obvious hypocrisy and how this storyline was undercut by Ronda Rousey's absence.

Part 2 of the Lesnar-Reigns II series focuses on the segment between Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns from the March 5 episode of Monday Night Raw.

This week's segment is compared to the various segments between Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar prior to WrestleMania 31 in 2015.

The build to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns' first WrestleMania match was one of the worst in recent memory. A sit-down interview after the Royal Rumble and a tug-of-war with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the Raw before WrestleMania 31 was the entirety of a feud deemed worthy of the WrestleMania main event.

WrestleMania 34 is on the horizon and once again the main event will revolve around Lesnar and Reigns. So this year, I will be evaluating the buildup to their Universal Championship Match in the hopes that whatever they do is far better than what the company gave us in 2015.
