Joe Talks with Rand and Wannetta about Games they played and camping.

This week, the host of the Xone Bros podcast joins us for an interview. We discuss the origins of their show, how they play a positive role in the world of video games, and their experience at E3 this year. The interview starts at the 31:30 mark. Nintendo dominates the news of the week, as they will be introducing an updated version with a longer battery life. Also, we learned when Luigi's Mansion 3 is releasing this fall, and some very lucky Southwest Airlines passengers were surprised with a new Nintendo Switch on their flight from Dallas to San Diego this week. We also detail the biggest releases coming next week, conduct our weekly Patreon giveaway, and answer questions from the community in our fan mail segment! Jessi and Joe talk about Periodic a game of Elements and Unbox & Game.

This week, we discuss the announcement of the Nintendo Switch Lite, coming this September day and date with Link's Awakening. How will this console that is handheld only perform when it is launched? Will it still be successful in a year? Sean Murray from Hello Games spoke this week about how developers and publishers like Microsoft, Bethesda, and Electronic Arts should handle rocky launches of online focused games. He draws upon his own experiences with the launch of No Man's Sky, but is he right in saying that publishers and developers should engage with the fanbase less? Amazon Games is developing a free-to-play Lord of the Rings MMO - are we excited for it? Also, Xbox Germany may have accidentally revealed that the Final Fantasy VII remake is coming to Xbox too, and everyone everywhere is denying it. Does that mean it's more likely to be true? We also detail the biggest releases coming next week, conduct our weekly Patreon giveaway, and answer questions from the community in our fan mail segment! This week, we return from a short break to discuss Xbox's next-gen plans. While they had previously said that they planned on releasing two consoles at different price points at the start of the next console generation, they seem to have backed off of that assertion lately. Is just one SKU for the next Xbox a good idea? We debate the pros and cons of multiple price points at launch. Also, Electronic Arts is at it again, as they just don't seem to understand why some fans see them as the bad guy. They think it comes down to the games they make and publish, and we disagree. We get into the reasons some gamers don't like EA, and what they can do to fix it. PlayStation responded to fan feedback last week and changed their PS+ offerings for July? Was this a good example of fans voicing concerns in a good way and a company being receptive? Finally, we discuss the success of cross-promotional campaigns in Fortnite and whether other game franchises might be able to follow suit.  To become part of our awesome community, just use the links below: Links: Email: [email protected] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/725468307840683/ Twitch: www.twitch.tv/txhgaminghub Twitter: https://twitter.com/TXHGamingHub Discord: https://discord.gg/TgjEmdf Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/gaminghub Website: www.thexboxhub.com

Joe talks with special guests Rafi and Tutti From Extra Crunchy about their new game Atommix.

Jessi and Joe talk about Geekway to the West and AJGcon 2019.

In this special bonus episode, we discuss some of our favorite games that we saw demos of at E3 and also bring the interviews we had with the makers of those games to the audio show for the first time. We discuss LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Cris Tales, and Ary and the Secret of Seasons! This week, we give one final look back at E3 after we've had time to sleep and process everything we saw and experienced in the six days we spent covering it in Los Angeles. Also, we spend some time comparing the somewhat negative tone to some of the gaming commentary during E3 versus our own experience from actually being there. But now that E3 is over, the star of the week is Electronic Arts. In a hearing in the UK Parliament, an EA representative stated that loot boxes are not loot boxes; instead, they are surprise mechanics that players love to experience. We discuss the latest way that EA has proven to be completely tone deaf, and their utter refusal to acknowledge what gamers want. Finally, we briefly touch on the rumors that the PlayStation 5 will be more powerful that the Scarlett from Xbox. Are the rumors true? If they are, do we care? Should gamers care, and at what point? We have many giveaways this week (7 in total!) including our E3 Grand Prize giveaway! Listen to the end to hear if your name is called! We also detail all the newest releases, and answer community questions - including new voice mail questions -  in our Fan Mail segment!
