Dr. Joseph Tucker Edmonds is the Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture at IUPUI. He teaches history, religious studies and Africana studies. He suggests that one of the barriers to moving the needle on racial justice is white Christians unwillingness to be uncomfortable. Dr. Edwards is an Associate Professor of New Testament at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL.
