In Genesis God makes a promise to Abraham. In Exodus God remembers His promise. In the wilderness the children of Israel consistently forgot what they prayed for.

Gods promise to the children of Israel was a land flowing with milk and honey, but first He had to lead them out of Egypt. The land of bondage. The journey to the promise land would not be an easy one. 

Where is your Egypt, your place of bondage? Are you trusting in God as he leads you out of bondage to what a greater place?
