Have you ever seen something strange in your room at night when you are waiting to fall asleep? Many people have, and the experiences are quite varied, from abstract shapes to bizarre dismembered apparitions. Whether these are ghosts, fairies, aliens, or just hypnagogic hallucinations is up for debate, but the fact remains that they are fascinating and they are common, particularly in childhood.
