Tasty ~ Sweet ~ Romantic READ
Thanks to the publisher, Carina Press, and NetGalley for the chance to read this early!
This is the first book I've read by this author and I wasn't disappointed. Although, its slow start, this story has a lot to offer and I'm glad I hung in there. It all makes sense after awhile and I was constantly off balance, trying to deduce the good guys from the bad ones. The romance between Megan and Joe was pretty intense. The characters were carefully created with intricate personality traits and characteristics that make them seem realistic.
This was a tasty, sweet, romantic read - just enough tension to keep me intrigued. I look forward to other books by this author.

Review:
"Shadow Valley" by Kate Sherwood was a short good romantic mystery read. The two people that this read was about was Megan Archer and Joe Cody. We find that Megan had recently be caught up in a affair with the governor of Montana and has be sent to "Shadow Valley." In this town there seems to have a 'marijuana problem.' On her way to "Shadow Valley," due to a car accident, Megan is saved by Cody who just happens to the in"member of the biggest pot dealing family in town." You will find that there is a lots going on within this story...like "the mystery of where Joe's been for the last ten years and what he's really doing in the area and with his family. There's the story between Megan and the governor which is ruining her life. There's the mystery of what is really going on within the different branches of law enforcement in this small town." However, It doesn't take long for Megan and Cody become interested in each other and this is where this story really takes off and I say you must pick up "Shadow Valley" to see how this author will bring it out to its readers. You will find all of the characters well developed and very realistic in their endeavors in this intriguing novel.
This is definitely a novel that you will not know from page to page what would happen next in who is or is not trustworthy.
