This week in The Labia Lounge I chat with someone I really respect and who's perspectives and experience I value highly. Rainier Wylde is a deep thinker, a poetic wordsmith, and a kind heart, and I was lucky enough to get him on to chat about shadow work and authentic relating.

We talk about what shadow work actually is, how we can uncover and recognise our shadow, and how we can start to integrate these parts of ourselves. We discuss why this work is so important and how it relates to the shit that comes up when we're in relationship. We go into a bunch of juicy conversations about long-term relating, "doing the work" on ourselves and in relationship, how to handle it when our shadows, triggers and trauma come up in relationships and when to double down on the work versus when to throw in the towel when a relationship is too much work. Rainier talks us through the three essential components a relationship needs to be healthy and successful, and we touch upon some really fascinating concepts that aren't taught or talked about enough.
