Shaken Awake

We have additional, audible and visual algorithm generators; think Alexa, Siri, your own cell phone and tablet, and others. Ever heard them respond or make a reference or suggestion or other, seemingly out of nowhere? That was them ‘listening’ and adding what they saw/heard into your life’s algorithm. This is not tin-foil hat stuff, folks – this isn’t doomsday, or doom-and-gloom theories I’m explaining here. Don’t believe ME, believe the companies that widely and openly admit they’re doing this. The last WOW-factor type of information I received from Amazon is that Amazon’s algorithms are so strong and powerful, they’re often able to realize a woman is pregnant before SHE does based on her search and buying habits!!!! That’s just scary – I don’t know about you, but something just doesn’t sit well with me on that one. In the technology scheme of things, on the surface, it’s a pretty cool, almost sci-fi type of thing happening. On the spiritual side of things, it’s definitely a tool of the enemy and he’s been helping to make it stronger and stronger the moment the internet was formed. It’s a great avenue for him to use for his destructive plans and desires. Just as God uses technology to help his followers gain more knowledge and access, the devil does as well.

Here's the point – the algorithm is based on YOU and YOUR interests, and YOUR desires, and YOUR wants and YOUR passions, and YOUR curiosities, and YOUR beliefs, and YOUR idols…..yeah, I said it – YOUR IDOLS. I’m not pointing fingers here, I’m stating facts. To show you what I mean, let me tell you what MY algorithms use to generate and send me on a daily, minute-to-minute, hour-to-hour basis – suggestions and ideas and links to porn, to alcohol, to worldly trinkets and toys, to worldly pleasures, to hate-filled speech and political rhetoric, to subject matter that was completely against God and absolutely against what He wanted in my life. I remember searching and looking for videos of actual beheadings, and suicide on film, and murder, and much, much worse. These negative images, and suggestions and ploys to get me to go down these villainous rabbit holes were, yes, from the devil, but they originated from ME. I had no one else to blame but ME. It was technological and digital PROOF that I was worshipping and following the things of this world, and not Jesus. These algorithms took the evil I had inside and perpetuated them to even greater heights and deeper depths. It became a vicious cycle – my sin was fueling new sin; my sinful nature was creating a bigger sin life and broadening the path to hell I was on. I was assisting the devil in his own plot to seek, kill, and destroy me and those around me!!!! If this sounds bad and horrible and deplorable and despicable and evil – that’s RIGHT!!! IT was!!! Absolutely. Do you think I had any pleasant things in my algorithm? Absolutely not. Were any Godly things popping up on my devices or in my recommended or suggested items to read, or research, or buy – absolutely not. Was there life or death in my daily algorithms I had created – most certainly DEATH. No scripture, no pureness, no holiness, no Christian or Biblical knowledge or wisdom, NO GOD, NO JESUS, NO HOLY SPIRIT, NO SALVATION.

God’s offer to this world is so powerful. He doesn’t offer what might be done. He offers what has been done. It’s what the Bible preaches, and it’s what I’m trying to share with you through God’s Word. It’s the best news you could possibly hear. It’s changed our lives, and I believe it could change yours too.

Are you looking for what’s truly important in this life and the next in what you and/or the world has to offer you during this lifetime, or are you looking for God to TRULY grant and gift you all this, and more, starting TODAY?

Don’t let the wonders of the world God created, including yourself, blind you from God Himself. He’s the only one that offers salvation – the world can never and will never offer you that. The world offers death. Jesus offers life. Chose wisely.

Science cannot find it. Books have attempted to explain it and movies attempt to portray it. Everyone wants to know about what life after death looks like – Is grandpa in Heaven? Am I going to Heaven or Hell? What if NOTHING happens when I die?

Everyone wrestles with these types of questions after life after death and soon or later, it touches our own life or someone elses’s that we know. Since there’s so much confusion, it can be easier to believe the popular belief. What feels content should never override what is true. Everybody wrestles with questions about the afterlife. Sooner or later, it touches our own lives or someone else’s we know.

Since there is so much confusion, it can be easy to believe what’s popular or feels good. But what’s convenient should never become more important than what’s true.

What we do with the time we do have, once our eyes are opened to the truth, is what sets apart those that are truly saved from those that aren’t, as well as the rewards those that are going to Heaven will get to enjoy for eternity, vs. the level of torment in hell those that aren’t saved will receive. How you spend your time on Earth will determine such levels and the place where you shall dwell FOREVER.

God has given us all a choice – the freedom to choose. The freedom to believe in Him and Christ. The freedom to choose to believe in Jesus, the reason for his death on the cross, the resurrection, and forgiveness He offers, and the need to repent. God has given us all a choice to repent of our sins, not just ask forgiveness and continue the same sin. The point is – He gives us all a choice and the choice and choices we make will either save or condemn us. How many people burning in hell and in torment right now with zero hope they’ll ever be in a different place – how many of them would give ANYTHING to have just one more second on Earth to believe, to truly repent, or to ask Jesus into their hearts? I’ll tell you – ALL OF THEM!!!! Except, they cannot. In fact, God’s giving YOU another chance RIGHT NOW to get right with Him. That’s between you and Him, but the mere fact you’re tuned in, as long as you’re listening, is proof He gives changes and He gives you choices – except He will not make them FOR you. You can choose to accept and act, or ignore, deny, and remain lost.

Every day you are given another gift called life, by God, is another day He is allowing you to live for Him, to believe in Him, to repent, to have true faith and faith that is turned into works for Him, to help others, to love Him with everything in your being and to love all neighbors as much as you love yourself. You’ve got the same chance everyone in Heaven AND Hell had while they were here on Earth as you are right now – except, their choices sealed their fate on where they’re at this very moment and where they’ve been already for up to thousands of years, as well as the level of paradise or torment they’re receiving now, based on their eternal home.

In this episode, we’re going to be diving into a very important topic, “Taking our eye off the prize and living each day as though we’ve got a million more.” The topic for today’s show is not a cliche’d statement, but has more meaning than you would imagine. Tune in as we share in the awe and amazement and meaning behind this phrase and I pray this has a lasting effect on your hearts, your minds, and your lives, moving forward from this day forward.

The point of today’s episode that I really want to hit home for all of you is that although ‘CHANGE’ can be a bit of a mystery, or as I like to call it – a hologram, change is necessary to continue to grow in your walk with the Lord, in your faith, in your relationships, in your life, in your purpose God has for you, in your race He has set before you, and to better your chances of living the purposeful life He created you to have. Often times, change is the one thing we love to hate, right? Be honest! Let’s all admit it right now – when things seem like they’re going poorly or just plain BAD, sometimes, change is embraced and welcomed, right?

Forget what WE know about relationships – I’d rather hear and seek to understand what the Word of God says about having a relationship with Jesus. I want and need to understand how much of what I believe to know is true about a relationship, actually aligns with the Word of God – otherwise, it’s a worldly definition of mine and meaningless, correct? I want to know what the Holy Spirit inspired these men to write regarding this relationship need for Chris, I want to hear what Christ Jesus said Himself about having a relationship with him, and I want to know what God Himself breathed into these pages that are still alive today as they were over 2,000 years ago. Don’t YOU?

Then, let’s DO IT! Here we go!.......

And for those of you that haven’t tuned into last week's episode quite yet, the meaning behind this podcast is to ferret out the WORLD from God’s Word. If you’re joining us, that means you at least believe in God’s Word, heck if you don’t – listen in any way – we’re happy to have you here with us), so this isn’t meant to be a Sunday school lesson or every comes to have feel-good moments and a break from reality – we have TOO MANY PEOPLE, and PLACES, and THINGS that already do that for us on the daily, anyway – we don’t need anymore. This is to get a glimpse of what the world is hiding, what the enemy is silencing, and what the nature of man is holding hostage in your lives right now.

So today, we’re going to discuss something that is very near and dear to my heart – one that I had firmly believed in, and swore by, trained on, and was an expert in…..until I realized, or should I say, GOD revealed to me directly, that I was on the right track, just not HIS TRACK with this mindset. So, like so many other revelations and He’s provided me these past couple of years, it’s completely transformed my way of living, and of course by that, I also mean my final destination with Him in Heaven. The topic I’m referring to is – “Everyone (that includes YOU and me, my friends), is EXACTLY where they (you and I) want to be in life - this very moment in time.
