Our readings and the sermon bring us deeper into the theme of hope as we continue in the second week of Advent.
Why do we worship Jesus as King? Because of who He is and what He has done. Check out the message to learn more! You may also appreciate these links which helped with aspects of the sermon.

In many ways this is a follow up to last week’s message. In this sermon we consider a unique encounter Jesus had with some folks who didn’t believe in the afterlife. May this message encourage you that there is a resurrection to come!
This past Sunday we observed one of the seven principal feast days of the church... All Saints Day. Saturday 11/1 was All Saints Day but our liturgy on Sunday 11/2, which was All Souls Day, reflected both. The phrase, "Memento Mori" has become associated with All Saints Day over the years and it means, "Remember you must die." And so our message was focused on remembering the saints as well as the brevity of our own lives and being faced with how we will live them.
In this week's message we cover the second of two parables on prayer in Luke 18. This is a simple but powerful word to be humble in prayer and in life.
In this message we dug into the parable of the persistent widow and a little bit of Jacob's story. Ultimately, this was an encouragement to us to be persistent in prayer.
