Pastor Craig continues the series on the Shalom Covenant by looking at the fourth paragraph which states, "We commit ourselves to build the church, to participate regularly in worship, nurture, and prayer, seeing to equip each other for ministry."

This week we focused on the third paragraph of the Shalom Covenant which says, "We commit ourselves to the way of the cross, to a life of justice, peace, and healing in a world of oppression, brokenness, and conflict."

Pastor Brian continues the series on Shalom Mennonite Church's 1991 Covenant.  This week we looked at the line, "We commit ourselves to follow our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom God has begun the new creation, and in whom we find faith, hope, and love."

As we begin a series of the Shalom Mennonite Church covenant from 1991, Pastor Brian discusses the concepts of covenants and why it is so important for Christians to enter a covenant with a faith community in general, using  Genesis 15:5-12, 17-18, and Hebrews 10:12-25 as a framework for this discussion.
