Almost a year since the last episode, I jump straight into discussing the direction of this podcast - namely a centralised focus on pop culture and keeping things fun!

This episode kickstarts a roughly 10 episode mini-series of reviewing Masters of the Universe (MOTU) Revelation (available on Netflix) joined by an extra special guest, and equally massive MOTU superfan, Twitch streamer Curzel_Chat (https://www.twitch.tv/curzel_chat).  We spend this particular podcast episode unpacking what the MOTU world is all about, including the histories of known heroes He-Man and She-Ra.

Before I go on, a small *trigger warning* that one of the earlier segments will discuss some of my mental health journey and initials struggles this year.  It's nothing too serious, but when you get to the point where I start talking, you can skip ahead to 26m06s if you want to avoid hearing about it.

I'm back!!!!

After an unintended hiatus, I am back with my fifth episode.  Did you miss me?  I talk about current events, including my wish to be a better ally to our Black communities around the world.  I realise how uneducated I am about the world events surrounding Black Lives Matter and I want to be better.

This episode is about personality testing, specifically the Myers Briggs indicator.  I run through a free test via www.16personalities.com to see how different my results are to 15 years ago when I last ran it.

This time I wanted to add a new format to the regular content of reviewing a binge-worthy show and covering it from start to finish.  I gained inspiration from Em Rusciano and Michael Lucas from the Emsolation podcast (love them!) as they gave their own hot take on the show Normal People.

So here it is listeners, my honest review on the hot new show on Stan (Australia), Hulu (USA), or BBCThree (UK).  It has so many dynamics that you just cannot stop watching all 12 episodes!!  You will laugh, you will swoon, you will definitely cry and you'll likely want to throw any available projectile at the TV at least once or twice - but don't do it!
