With the start of 2024, we are launching into a whole new blog series, Unlocking the Woman Within. While much of the series will be hosted over on our social media page (find us on Facebook at Shannon Singh, Author), occasionally we will drop a new podcast episode here that is dedicated specifically to navigating this journey together. 
 
Unlocking The Woman Within is all about digging in deep and allowing God to uncover the beautiful, gifted, called, and irreplaceable woman that He has placed inside of each one of us. 

It's about intentionally trading in our life of comfort and complacency and asking God for the deep-end of the pool experience. Head, shoulders, knees, and toes! Total submission and submersion. No safety bars. No guard rails. Just Jesus. 

A year of radical courageous obedience. 

A year of saying yes to God. 

Because, Prayer + Radical Courageous Obedience = 1 Year that can completely change your life! And that’s exactly what we are chasing this year.

In this podcast episode, we take a deep dive into a word that God has been piecing together in my heart for a very long time. Friends, years of theology and religious messages have made us feel justified in calling out and shaming the unchurched. And when we do this, we are minimizing their walk, their calling, and their relationship with God, effectively squeezing it into a box of our own understanding. My prayer with this message is that you feel grace and God's love poured all throughout it. But I also pray that if you find God tapping your heart while listening, or if you feel deeply challenged by this episode, that you open up your spirit to a new perspective and let God fill you with His discernment and His truths. Remember: We are challenged because we are cherished. God grows His people as He draws them closer to His heart. Many blessings, my friends.

In this episode, we spend some time exploring the mindset of productivity in the season of wait. We dissect the popular statement, "God feeds the birds, but he doesn’t throw the worms into the nest," exploring both truths and untruths in this culturally-driven thought process of constant building, growing, working, and achieving. There is a season for everything under heaven and to every season there is a purpose; a season to co-labor with God and a season to sit in His presence and let Him fill you with everything you need, including the reassurance that He’s got this and He’s got you. God has created a space inside your spirit for Him, a space that only He can fill. To the woman who feels like she's failing at every turn - as a mom, as a wife, at finding her purpose, or living out her calling - whatever your struggle to feel like "enough" may be today, please know that you are incredible, my friend. You are seen, held, loved, and cherished. You are not broken or forgotten, left to survive the remnants of your mistakes or failures and forever defined by your difficult seasons. Quite the opposite. You are a masterpiece in the making, a beautiful and perfectly imperfect being walking through seasons of growth and learning. It's time to break the weight of the lies that are breaking you. God loves you too much to watch you carry this any longer. Let's give it to Him today. You are more than enough, my friend, and I hope that this podcast episode deeply blesses you right where you are.

God is calling on our hearts today to take active steps to come into agreement with Him and begin to prepare for all that He has for us, but sometimes the fear of the unknowns and the natural tendency to want to protect ourselves seems to work against that message, especially if His promises seem to conflict what we see and feel all around us.
