Shaona Imaru, winner of the 2019 Vocational Student of the Year Award, talks with Scott Cam about how VET helped her to start following her passion.

Growing up in a Tanzanian refugee camp, Shaona saw how important and fulfilling a career in healthcare could be. After coming to Australia, she found out how VET could help her achieve that goal, land a job as soon as she graduated, and set her up for the future.
