Shape The Culture concludes the JUDAS series with one final look at an emotional moment between Jesus and Judas. As Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, we witness the power of responding instead of reacting. Jesus demonstrates that we can lead with love even when we are directly confronted with evil. It takes maturity to be able to process our emotions and stay on our path when others push us to react. We must walk with our faith everyday and our actions must prove that we believe our life is under control even when it's out of our control.
Shape The Culture continues the JUDAS series. This week, a look into the final act of love towards Judas from Jesus is discussed. As Jesus treats his betrayer like a honored guest, we are shown that love doesn't come easy and it can take a lot of work to lead with love in the face of evil. We are responsible for our own choices and must commit actions that represent ourselves and not others. Knowing that Jesus was deeply troubled and still able to treat Judas with love provides us with an example to follow in our own lives.
Shape The Culture continues the series JUDAS. This week we talk about being responsible for our own choices and actions. We can only control ourselves and can't allow the actions of others to make us feel insecure. As we battle our inner demons, it's important that we make conscious choices that affirm the belief in ourselves and lead us in the right direction.
Shape The Culture begins a new series titled JUDAS. The first episode focuses on the call of the disciples that included Judas. Taking a look at this story illustrates how our internal world conflicts with our external world. We can have the complete picture on the outside, but be crumbling on the inside. Each of us wages our own war with our emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Focusing on our inner struggles allows our external world to manifest itself into a more complete picture and ultimately lead us closer to our true selves.
Shape The Culture wraps up the I Am Human series and talks about the Butterfly Effect. As we go through our transformations, we begin to see ourselves evolve into new people. The spirit of God has a way of using what's already inside of us to turn us into who we are called to be. Our inner journey is the most important journey there is. Once you start to fly, you cannot go back to crawling.
Shape The Culture continues the I Am Human series. This week, change is the focus as we look into how change is as natural as breathing. Looking at the stories of Peter in Luke 5 and John 21, we witness the same miracle, the same God, but different reactions. God is the only constant in our lives and the changes we go through prepare us to deepen our spiritual relationship.
This week Shape The Culture continues their series, I Am Human. This week the focus is on crashing out and making sure that we don't get ahead of ourselves. Looking at the story of Peter's denial of Jesus, we see how it is human nature to crash out , but redemption is right around the corner. We have to pay attention to the power of our tongue and make sure we say what we mean and mean what we say.
