Shaped by Faith Special Guest this Week…Angel Welsh Angel Welsh is the Executive Director of My Sisters Keeper Women & Children’s Shelter, in Owensboro, Kentucky. I have known Angel since she was fourteen years old, working as a life guard at the YMCA. And then there was the Miss Daviess County Pageant when I was the director, my oldest daughter the dance choreographer and Angel just so happened to win that year! I believe her contagious smile, quick witted answers, and spunky personality won the judges over that year! She’s also a citizen of Canada by marriage and is just releasing A Traveling Grandma’s Guide to Israel: Adventures, Wit, and Wisdom based on her nine extensive trips there over nearly 40 years. She now writes historical fiction flavored with romance and suspense. Marilyn has written a series of four historical novels with lighthouse settings (Coastal Lights Legacy series), set during and after the Civil War, published by Winged Publications. One of those books, Revealing Light, won third place in the Faith, Hope and Love Reader’s Choice award.
