Amber’s ambitious (for her) one shot of Lasers and Feelings continues! How will the crew fair with the oncoming threats of the Something Else. There’s a hefty chunk of recap after the game ends, where Amber’s struggles with game flow are discussed.

Time for an easy one page one shot, amirite? It’s Amber’s second game and she chose John Harper’s Lasers and Feelings.

Morale is tanking, the city police have become aware of Revolution Record’s shenanigans, the Big Shot is becoming agitated, literal fires have been put out. And yet somehow the gang is still hanging in there.

Damn! The Man is strong in this game. Too many ties, too many deals. Soren’s feeling all the pressure while everyone else is losing focus. Will they succumb to the Man or stay true to their nature? The Big Shot arrives and complicates things further.

Damn the Man continues with a brief explanation of the mechanics and the playing out of the Opening Scene. Can Soren, Chip, Emmy-chan, and Roscoe focus on their tasks without causing any unwanted attention?

Amber runs a playtest of Damn the Man, Save the Music by Hannah Shaffer for her friends Josh, Brandon, Kristin, and Dave. DTM started out as an Empire Records inspired hack of Hannah’s other game Questlandia but it has now become it’s own roleplaying game! This episode focuses on the creation of the store employees who help run Revolution Records. You also get to meet the Boss and Big Shot who will either contribute to or ease the tension in the store.
