For the last two shows, we’ve been discussing the question: can Christianity still change the world? This week we’ll discuss a crucial aspect of the New Testament’s answer: on the cross, Jesus paid for all sin, destroying the main obstacle in the way of His kingdom’s renewing power. Now, He has launched His redeeming reign and is transforming the world, person by person, soul by soul! We took a bit of a holy detour towards the end; don’t miss it - we believe the Lord will use it to refresh you!

Invasion of Light Podcast will return in a few weeks because JJ and his wife just welcomed their newborn son, William. We’ll get back to the show as soon as we possibly can! In the meantime, make sure to catch up on the first two episodes and spread the word about Invasion of Light Podcast!

Did the Old Testament promise that Jesus' kingdom would change the world?

Psalm 22:27-28 declares that one day, “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And He rules over the nations.” Yet even with promises as powerful as this, many believers still struggle to believe Jesus can use them to transform the world around them. In this episode, Brian and JJ Weller discuss what the Old Testament prophets had to say about Jesus' impact on the world, and what that means for us as His ambassadors. Prepare to be stirred, encouraged, and challenged by God's promises!

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commanded us to “Go…and make disciples of all the nations…teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (NKJV). For centuries, the church obeyed this commandment, preaching the gospel to whoever would hear, and changing the very fabric of society in the process. But today, with darkness closing all around us, many believers have lost hope that the church can still make a radical difference in the world. In this episode of Invasion of Light Podcast, we’ll tackle the question head-on: “Can Christianity still change the world?”

God's Word is packed full of wonderful promises to his people, and in times like these, we must look to Him in all things and trust the words He has spoken to us through the Bible.

As we meditate on God's promises, our faith rises, reminding us God truly is in control. So be encouraged today, and don't be afraid of what's ahead!

Jesus said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)

Jesus is building that church, and we see the reality of it sprinkled across the land, and I praise God for that. I also praise God for the pastors and Bible teachers who faithfully teach God's Word the way God wants it. But what happened with the rest that calls themselves a "church" but embraces a watered-down version of the gospel, the world's woke philosophy, and anti-biblical teaching and rhetoric?

In this brief message, we'll explore the answer to this question "What happened to the church?"

God's Truth Matters is a message urging believers to embrace God's absolute truth described in God's Word. Brian teaches our opinion doesn't matter to God if it conflicts with God's Word. His Word is the final say on everything from spiritual matters to vitally important moral issues like morality, gender, abortion, etc.

This message examines why God's truths found in Scripture must be first and foremost in every believer's life and a message we must preach in love if we want to see people come to a knowledge of God's truth. Brian also shares examples of how many people, including some Christians, have adapted their beliefs to the world system. God's Truth Matters does matter if we want to be dedicated, passionate disciples of Jesus Christ.

This morning I woke up from a very vivid dream. To be honest, I generally don't remember dreams. When I do, it usually contains a message for me or others from the Lord. This has happened a few times in the last couple of months.

In this short dream, a person was lying facedown on some stairs going downward. I could see they were gasping for air and sensed their terror. In the dream, there was another person in the room at the very bottom of the stairs. That person was encouraging the desperate one to breathe.

In this dream, I was there but was unseen. After observing the situation, I walked to the other side of the room, to a table. I looked closely and saw a Bible on it. I then looked back at the person lying facedown on the stairs and suddenly woke up. When I woke out of that deep sleep, I realized this dream had some spiritual significance to it.

At first, I began to think of the people around the world gasping for natural air during this pandemic. I thought about how terrible that would be and prayed for God's mercy on those that are sick in that way.

Then the Lord showed me the meaning behind this dream. He showed me that the person in this dream was not gasping for natural air but for pure, supernatural air. I could sense the dark desperation in their heart, and the fear and anxiety overwhelmingly them. I asked the Lord what He was saying to me in this dream. His answer was clear, "Take a deep breath."

I was thinking this morning about the term “social distancing.” Few had ever heard of it before the COVID-19 Crisis. Now everyone knows the term, and governments everywhere encourage us to practice it. But I’m not talking about social distancing in this devotional. Instead, I want to introduce a little-known practice that the whole Christian community should avoid. I call it “God-distancing.” What is it?
