As I get into my adult life, I find it increasingly hard to connect with people on a deeper level. It gets lonely at times, and I start to wonder if I'm the problem, and how I can fix things. Maybe I don't expect the same things from friendships as the average person does and that's why it's so difficult for me. In today's episode we're diving into the very complex issues linked to the objectification as well as the hyper sexualization of women's bodies, including the difficulties to maintain platonic relationships with the opposite gender in our current society. This episode was also a little bit of a rant for me, cause as a woman I'm pretty sure I've earned my right to complain about men for a few minutes (might take a few days though). All love, always !

It's scary and it demands energy to take a stance, but we can no longer remain indifferent to the pain of others. The ultimate message here is to urge each other to get involved and get out of the narrative which has us believing that we are powerless and can only ever be victims of the system.

November 14, 2023 The Power of Self-Sufficiency
I believe self-sufficiency is about being alone and being comfortable with it, but also knowing and loving yourself. You cannot love someone you haven't gotten to know or understand. Do you really know who you are and do you love that person ? All these questions started popping up in my head as I got through a lot of (unwanted) alone time when I moved to Japan by myself a month ago. But I'm glad they did and they made me grow !
