The world feels upside down, and Lizzy Savetsky wants to know why we're here at all. So she brings the biggest question there is to Rabbi Manis Friedman.

After five years of fighting for the Jewish people, Lizzy Savetsky is burnt out. The work has become heavy and dark, and she's started asking a question she can't answer: why am I doing this?

In the first episode of Lizzy's Journey, she sits down with Rabbi Benji Levy to start looking for that answer. What happens when you lose your sense of purpose? What does it mean to feed your soul? And can one small Hebrew word change the way you see everything?

This is where the journey begins.

In Lizzy’s Journey, she goes back to the source, sitting down with some of Judaism’s leading rabbis and teachers to ask the questions she couldn’t answer on her own. Why are we here? What does it really mean to be Jewish? What does Kabbala teach about the soul, reincarnation, intimacy and addiction? And how do you keep going when the work gets heavy?
