It's National Sickie Day today and although some of us would call in sick in favour of a duvet day, for some, there may be a more serious reason for taking absence from work. Our reporter Anviksha Patel spoke to Dr Jill Miller, Research Adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, who carried out some research to find out the real causes of unexplained sickie days. Jill began by explaining what her results revealed.

According to research from credit report agency Equifax, a lack of parental controls and supervision could leave many kids at risk of giving out personal details and falling victim to scams. Tomorrow is Safer Internet Day which encourages greater awareness of some of the risks of online fraud and how to stay protected.
