Earlier this week, Lord Alf Dubs called for a change to the Immigration Bill in the House of Commons that would allow the UK to give sanctuary to 3000 lone child refugees. MPs voted against amendments to the Bill, which has been sent back to the House of Commons by the House of Lords.
