I watched the Netflix documentary called " Pray Away". The film focuses on conversion therapy for gay people and the harm it can and has done to a large group of people. This film and review is for anyone willing to listen and understand a community that God truly cares about.

I preached this past Sunday (07.25.2021). I spoke from Exodus about treating the foreigner, the widow, and the orphan well. We look at some historical and cultural background regarding the vulnerable groups and we look at our own identity through this lens. 

I had a conversation recently that made me question the common church phrase of "come as you are" and "all are welcome." I hope you listen and maybe begin to shift you language and your actions because of it. 

This is one of the first times I was given the opportunity to preach in person to a congregation. It was a fun and enlightening experience and might just be happening again soon! Stay tuned and subscribe for more!
