Share Truth Apply Scripture

The Christian life can seem odd to those who are not believers. We have a King they know nothing about. We love the rules He put in place because they reflect His character. But humble submission will always be a foreign concept to a world that values pride and hates authority.

Wesley, Jordan, and TJ discuss how the Christian life is perceived and misunderstood by the lost world in this episode of Share Truth Apply Scripture.

How do lost people view the Christian life?

Are Christians prideful, hateful bigots?

How many times have you read Genesis 1:1 on January 1? How many years have you fallen behind in your Bible reading plan only to never pick it back up?

Christians can easily become overwhelmed in trying to read Scripture because we do not have a proper understanding of it or its purpose. Wesley, Jordan, and TJ continue discussing wrong assumptions Christians have of Scripture and how we can overcome them.

Of all the books ever published, the Bible should be the one Christians love the most. But just because we love something doesn't mean we always have the most accurate views of it. Do you view Scripture as an instruction manual? Do you think every interpretation is valid? Wesley, Jordan and TJ share commonly-held wrong beliefs many Christians have regarding the Bible.

Are you ever overwhelmed by reading the Bible?

The Bible is not your instruction manual.

The Bible has been used to support all types of evil ideas and actions. How do we respond to those who use the Bible improperly and those who refuse to believe it because it has been abused?

Wesley, Jordan, and TJ are finally back together. And they spend the program talking about assumptions many who are not Christian have about the Bible. Does it contain errors? Is it the same as any other piece of literature? The Bible was written by imperfect men and so it is an imperfect book. How do we as Christians answer these challenges?
