This is going to be an unusual podcast, longer than normal and unusual because we’re talking about the route to happiness amongst other things of course. Hearing about Deb’s journey from the depths of despair to helping others, if they wish to, to explore their own journey towards happiness. Deb’s Bio.

I am my work, and helping you is my dream; standing beside you is my dream; believing in you and supporting you, that is my dream; seeing you happy, that's my dream of dreams. That and more foreign travel, more cats and dogs (don't tell my husband), chocolate, days out, dancing, plays and shows, writing, and much more. I have so many reasons to feel inspired and enthusiastic about my life. That's what I want to offer you. Plus the inner strength to stand your ground when you need to, and the mind space to be able to create and define your own life. And peace, always inner peace and smiles….lots of smiles.

Carmen Capuano was born in 1966, in Govan, Glasgow and is of Italian and Spanish descent. She left her native Scotland at the age of eighteen to seek her fortune in London. A full and varied career saw her tread the boards as a musical theatre performer, before undertaking such diverse jobs as a primary school teacher and veterinary assistant in Birmingham. She now lives in the small Worcestershire town of Bromsgrove. Interested in writing from an early age, it was only when she had her own children that she found her enthusiasm for story telling had not waned in any way and was still as alive and enticing as ever. "For me, writing is as essential to the soul as breathing is to the body."

The author lives in a big Californian mansion overlooking the sea, where she rides one of her seven horses on the sand every day, and her butler brings her Pina Coladas to sip… is that what you expected to hear? Ok, so back to reality then.

The author lives in Bromsgrove, a small town in the English Midlands. Originally from Glasgow, she came to England in the expectation of a better climate and less hills. Now 45 and with three young children in tow, she is forced to keep a sense of humour about life.

During her 19 year career as an employee in large multinational corporations she not only survived but thrived during inevitable periods of change. First hand experience of working through acquisitions, mergers and separations, coupled with change she instigated to take her career into new roles and business sectors, which has enabled her to grow a unique skillset that she can draw upon to help clients with their own change journeys – either business or personal.

People development, coaching and mentoring are passions of hers.

Outside of work, you will mostly find her writing, working towards her 3rd Dan Blackbelt in Tang Soo Do or volunteering. In 2016 she climbed to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar raising £10600 for the Steve Prescott Foundation. She is also an active member of Rotary International.
