Shared Struggle

Failte a Chairde

this week im delighted to be joined by Chloe Campbell.
Chloe is an Irish settler like me and so many others in so called Australia.
We first connected on instagram and the work she does is fantastic. We talk about the island or Ireland divided and some efforts needed to move towards a united Ireland. We speak about drug and alcohol abuse. We speak about trauma..... and really everything in between
This is a two parter so please enjoy!
part 2 comes next week

oh man where'd I start with this guy?
An incredible man who has overcome some of the harshest circumstances. From Mozambique war zone to refugee around the world.
To finding himself and his talents while never losing sight of those around him. In fact he works tirelessly with those less fortunate and uses his afrobeat rap infusion to bring light on so many injustices around the world.
Listen, I am completely honoured to have a human like this human on my platform and I love that share all this with all my listeners.

Failte a chairde

for a man that was kicked out of school and felt like a sore thumb to the education system of Ireland, I am delighted to introduce my next guest.

Dr. Sharon Lambert is, as she says, a senior lecturer in the university college cork. she has gifted me with her time and I really appreciated her knowledge and wisdom throughout. I may have spoke over her a few times but I found it hard to hear her mic ( I am really not that ignorant).

My gofundme is  below and if you are in Australia and are looking to buy a solidarity shirt please contact me through my social media platforms!

Failte a chairde

I am excited to share this episode with you all. It was something that came from a bit of scrolling in bed. I felt inspired to make this to show the shared history we have with our brothers and sisters in An Phailistin. I wanted to speak about our relationship with our neighbours after 900 years after seeing the BBC ad for the All Ireland Hurling Final. I also remembered the first Bloody Sunday massacre that took place in Croke Pairc and wanted to mention the similarities between the targeted men and women by the occupying force both in 1916 Ireland and in An Phailistin today.

Most of all I my love of our land in Ireland, our native game, my grá for our language and I hope to sit here one day seeing An Phailistin flourish as we do. I'll do what I can to make it happen.
